Pool & Outdoor

The pool above the sea

A private infinity pool of roughly 10 by 4 metres, holding the line of the horizon.

The infinity pool

The pool measures about 10 metres by 4, with a depth of around 1.2 metres — made for swimming lengths at dawn and floating through the afternoon, its edge dissolving into the sea beyond.

Around it: six sunbeds, two large umbrellas, and a pool-side table with seating for six, so lunch happens two steps from the water.

The balcony and terraces

Above the pool runs the 17-metre balcony — dining for eight, a sofa set and the full sweep of the Libyan Sea. Between balcony and pool, stone terraces catch sun and shade at different hours of the day.

Night swimming, softly lit

Pool, terraces, stairs and stone walls are lit in the evening by considered architectural lighting — enough to swim by, never enough to compete with the stars.

A few pool rules

The pool is unheated and shared by everyone staying in the house, so we keep the rules short:

  • No glass around the pool
  • No diving (depth 1.2 m)
  • Children must be supervised at all times
