Location
In the hills near Agia Galini
Southern Crete, facing the Libyan Sea.
The Stone House stands in the hills near Agia Galini, on the southern coast of Crete. This is the island's quieter face — olive groves and carob trees, small harbours, and a horizon that belongs entirely to the Libyan Sea.
What the location offers, above all, is quiet and privacy. The house sits apart, in open country; days are measured by light rather than schedules, and set to the sound of cicadas in the morning and afternoon.
Southern Crete keeps its own character. Agia Galini, once a small fishing harbour, still works to its own rhythm — tavernas by the water, boats going out, and the mountains of the interior rising just behind.
